Mindfulness and Stress Reduction
Finding balance in the nervous system and gaining a more solid foundation in the body is essential for wellness. Jordana brings a subtle and powerful orientation to mindfulness and stress reduction through her work with somatic movement therapy. Via somatic resourcing, mindful movement, creative body mapping, as well as highly skilled direct hands-on work, Jordana encourages awareness of the habitual patterned movements and postures that shape us and offers her client the freedom of new movement and posture choices. Her sessions reduce tension and trauma held in the nervous system, offer practical somatic tools to feel more grounded in daily life, and reveal the body’s true vitality.

Creative Depression and Anxiety Counseling
Jordana’s sensitive approach allows individuals to move through depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma with lasting effect. Using an arts and somatic (body-based) perspective, Jordana helps restore balance to the emotional and physical body while honoring the challenges we face as humans. The arts provide an abundance of possibilities for rewriting stuck patterns into productive and healthy stories through creative ritual and storytelling, as well as envisioning the new phase of life that transition requires.
In addition to private work, Jordana loves to guide people through grief performance rituals. This is an invitation to create a structured dance or spoken word piece that can be shared with one person or with a small audience of intimate friends and family. This interest comes out of her own experience of healing through trauma.
